Easy recipe for kids lunches

Dear Reader,

We all know how crazy mornings can be, especially when you’re trying to get everyone out the door on time.

One way to make mornings a bit easier is by meal prepping for your kids. It’s simpler to just grab something that’s been prepared and is not processed. Plus, it’s healthier!

We need to ensure that we’re not feeding our kids too much sugar or salt, not to mention the other ingredients that are included in processed foods to make them taste better or last longer.

With that in mind, I wanted to share a recipe that is both kid-friendly and easy to prepare ahead of time.

I've included the recipe below. Let me know if you make the cookies!!

These vegan cookies are made with only 5 healthy ingredients and are great for a quick breakfast or snack for kids. Plus, they’re sweet enough to be used as a dessert!

Enjoy and stay warm!!

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Then, grab a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.

2. Peel your ripened banana and add it to a large bowl. Mash the banana until it’s nice & mostly smooth!

3. Add the rest of the wet ingredients and whisk it all together.

4. Go ahead and add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients bowl.

5. Grab a rubber spatula and stir and fold it until everything’s well mixed. Fold in your favorite add-ins.

6. Scoop and drop balls of your peanut butter banana oatmeal cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten the cookies.

7. Bake for about 12 minutes, then cool and enjoy the best peanut butter banana oatmeal cookies!

Some of us know this scenario all too well. Here are some strategies that have transformed my family life, especially during the sniffle season: Hearty Meals: The slow cooker has become a cherished companion, simmering...
